I have got hired in paper industry as a Quality manager . This industry is new to me but prior I had experience of Chemical industry.

This industry manufactures the paper board and uses the paper board for other variety of products by converting it .

I need to check the quality of paperboard and also serve the purpose of improvement in current quality . But while checking the quality I came across the losses and gain from the manufacture of paper board . So I should concentrate on reducing the losses so the gain will increase with more quality . Also need to keenly look after the exact the area where losses are occuring more , reason for the same and if that losses are affecting the quality or not.

After analysis I got the data for the respective areas where the losses have occured . Also I enquired with the eight productions to do the further analysis and the purpose of lossess.

So after the brief analysis work , below will be my purposes ;

The defects in machines and rooms once rectified can occur again . Hence all the machines need to be checked after fix stipulated time as per company's work load and requirement . Also if any defect found should be cleared as soon as possible .

Also , the advise given by production head taking that into consideration that work load has increased and workers just meet the targets and ignore the quality . But this happens as work load has increased and time is less .

So my job will be to provide such machines and rooms that are defect and error free so that workers job doesn't get stopped due to insufficient machines and quality does not meet the standards due to improper machines. So quality should be increased in machines and rooms and then in dimensions of products and also the small defects .

If all the required purpose is satisfied then the losses will reduced and gain will increase more .
