Construct a simple frequency distribution. Use this frequency distribution to male a judgment about the shape of the distribution of the scores. b. Calculate the mode, median, and mean. c. Compare the measures of central tendency. Is the distribution skewed? Explain how you reached a decision. Does your answer from this comparison agree wih your judgment from the frequency distribution constructed for question a? d. (a) For Set 3, the frequency distribution is given below.

The shape of the distribution of the scores in both the sets (3 and 4) seems to be left or negatively skewed.
(b) For Set 3, mean = 46.71, median = 50, mode = 52.
For Set 4, mean = 38.59, median = 40, mode = 52.
(c) Observing the measures of central tendency for both sets 3 and 4, it can be stated that the distributions are negatively skewed. This is due to the fact that for a negatively skewed distribution, mean < median < mode. Hence, the conclusion here matches with that of the judgement from the frequency distributions in part (a).
(d) Mode is describing the scores better than the others. This is because we are dealing with a discrete data and we are interested here in knowing the score which is occuring the most number of times.
