a) here expected amount in 2 boxes =2*21=42

and std deviation =0.4*(2)1/2 =0.565685

Normal( = 42, = 0.565685)

b) P(X>41)=1-P(X<41)=1-P(Z<(41-42)/0.565685)=1-P(Z<-1.7678)=1-0.0385 =0.9615
