Question 1.
Tiger woods apology according to the standards of the text can be considered as a sincere apology. This is because Woods did acknowledge the breach of trust that took place, and openly admitted to having complete fault with respect to the concerned predicament.
He was also cognizant when he addresses his wife as well as his children and the deep pain that his action must have caused to his family. Although, he wasn't entirely open about the problem that led to the given problem, which was the cheating and the unfaithfulness that he put his wife as well as his children through.
But he did talk specifically about the problem, bt in brevity as it is a personal matter that does need to be aired as dirty laundry would be.
He also took responsibilities for his action, and was aware through that weight of responsibility the great pain that he induced due to his actions, and was also willing to go through great lengths to help mend his ways.
