One of the common sense or belief based explanations of psychological behaviors is that the humans have left and right brain, and the left brain is responsible for the logic and arithmetic functions and the right brain is controls the creative and artistic functions, This belief is not true but widely believed so much so that many psychologist also believe this theory to be true. Scientific research has shown that this theory is false and does not hold any truth. The reason for the propagation of this theory was that of the research finding of a research done on speech and language functions said that left cerebral hemispheres' broca area was responsible for the production of speech and right hemisphere for non verbal cues. After these findings, the theory was constructed which was highly exaggerated, simplified and false explanation of the functions of brain. Many problems and issues could arise as a result of these common sense beliefs as people have wrong ideas about the functioning of brain, and many books or products could further spread false information about such information and could hinder the people from knowing the actual scientific facts.
