Bulimia Nervosa

Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder. This disorder is associated with large intake of food or binge eating at time by the person. This binge eating is then followed by purging what has been consumed. Binge eating is followed by vigrous purging behaviors.these episodes are continued in bulimia nervosa which is life threatening and poses a severe threat to psychological well being of the person who suffers .Based on purging, bulimia nervosa is classified into two categories;

Causes of bulimia nervosa could be poor self image, stressful transition events of life, trauma, professions that focus on physical appearance and performance as film industry and modelling.

Example- Jane Fonda (Actress/ Political Activist/ Fitness Guru) suffered this disorders for 25 years of her life.
