A psychological experiment has two variables under study.First independent variable which is manipulated by the researcher, whose effect on the dependent variable needs to be studied.Dependent variable is that whose values change according to the change in independent variable and is not controlled by any other external factor.

2.a) correlation implies causation is not true.

Correlation only implies that change in one factor has a change in the other as well.It can be positive or negative ranging between -1to +1, but it does not imply that one causes the other.

3.d) occipital lobe

Frontal, parietal, temporal and occipital are the four lobes present in a brain hemisphere.Visual stimulus is processed by occipital lobe, the frontal lobe processes cognitive and reasoning functions and motor skills.The parietal lobe interprets the touch and taste senses and the temporal lobe processes sound and language.
