Explanation / Answer

1. Oxygen deficiency results in bluish skin colour - abnormal condition called cyanosis which causes due to airway obstruction, emphysema or respiratory arrest.

2. Hyperpermeable capillaries result in blood in the dermis that shows through the skin - abnormal which occurs due to erythema caused by increased blood flow in dilated cutaneous blood vessels or by dermal pooling of red blood cells that have escaped from abnormally permeable capillaries as in sunburn

3. Ancestral exposure to UV radiation results in active melanocytes in descendants - normal and this is the main reason for the geographic and ethnic variations in the skin colours.

4. Genetically low numbers of active melanocytes results in fairer skin - normal as less number of melanocytes cause less pigment and lighter skin.

5. Genetically active melanocytes result in brownish skin - normal and it is called as freckles which occur due to clumps of melanocytes producing excessive melanin.

6. Lack of tyrosinase results in fair skin and hair - abnormal ; condition is called as albinism where genetical lack of melanin results in milky white hair and skin and blue-grey eyes. Melanin is synthesized from the amino acid tyrosine by the enzyme tyrosinase. People with albinism have inherited a recessive nonfunctional tyrosinase allele from both parents.
