Part B
Dr. Jonas seems to have alot on his hands with already running his own clinic and then over that he must oversee other patients from two other hospitals. Things could not only get really tricky and chaotic for him as he is having to deal with other issues other than just having to handle his patients. The option of getting all the three hospitals where he works to get the same software is not viable as the other two big hospitals would not just change their system for the sake of the doctor. They would be more concerned of the benefits they have for themselves than worry about Dr Jonas' concerns. The next best option for this is that Dr. Jonas to do a small technical course to be ale to handle this kind of software issue. This could teach him a few tricks to be able to transfer patients and perform his tasks with ease. The last and most plausible solution to this issue would be to hire a technical support or an assistant witht that kind of knowledge that could help him completely end to end in these kind of matters. This way he could focus on the things that actually matter like the welfare of his patients and gaining more knowlege on his field.
Part C
Being Lisa Madena's assistant I would have to firstly have a basic knowledge of the medical field. There are only a few options to handle this situation. They are
The option I would pick is to go and consult Lisa Madena before going through anything. She is firstly my boss and i would have to answer to her first. Therefore I would check with her if its alright and if it is actually a problem and then based on her decisions would take the next step.
Part D
Sarah has to be careful in handling a situation like this in a workplace. She has to be cautious on how she takes care of this could it could effect all the other workers and patients in the hospital. Fistly she needs to make sure that he is drunk and she thinks he is.
While intoxicated a person does not behave as they normally do. He could act out more harsh or even get violent in this stage. Therefore for the benefit of all the co workers and other people present she must try to send him back as soon as possible. She should ensure that he goes back safetle home before causing anymore problems. She must not confront him at that moment as he does not firstly understand what she is trying to say and also he might not react they way he is suppposed to. Therefore she could either book him a cab or get a co worker to drop him back to his place.
The next thing she could do is to o through his records and other data to see if this is a long recurring problem. She could then check with HR to see if there is any reason for his behaviour off late and his drinking habits. SHe must ensure to collect all the information before she could talk to him.
Once she is able to get all the information she must then call him question him and ask him about his behaviour. Then th hard part would start as to if he is a person who is likely to change. He could be sent off with a warning and a probationary period to ensure that this kind of behaviour doen not happen again.
This could be a long process which requires patience but it is Sarah's duty to ensure that all the patis in this situation are considered. They all need to be kept happy at the end of the day which depends on the decision she makes. At the same time she must be a little stern as well to ensure this sort of thing does not happen again.
