Explanation / Answer

Depends on when you are ready. But if you see scientifically between mid 20's to early 30's is the best time to have children as you will be more prepared in terms of both physically, mentally and socially. Women in their twenties are least likely to have developed chronic health problems that would put them or their babies at risk, and they have the lowest rates of miscarriage. But again this does not applies to working women in todays worls as they want to concentrate on their career.

"Best" meaning the best chance for the health of the infant, rather than the health of the pregnancy itself. Both early and late pregnancy have their benefits and drawbacks. Mothers in their 2o's feel more energetic but their are more drawbacks as money might be an issue and people of same age as parents are still on their career path so they dont have much in common. Where in early 30's paretns are more settled down financially and they enjoy freedom of being single and can have more than one child.

Overall, I think a good time is when you are established enough in your career, happy in your marriage, and know who you are. Enjoy your time together now and have a plan for a date to start a family whenever you think that is right. Things will change, but it is good to have a starting point. Turns out, the perfect age to have a child is as much of a myth as the perfect mom. Every woman's own calculation of the right time to have kids is a complicated formula of emotional and practical factors—health and fertility, financial stability, romantic status, career and personal development.

Module 2

1. Assisted reproductive technology has presented ethical, legal, and social questions to the society. What regulations and laws should be in place for ART reporting, social inequities that may arise from financial barriers. Society must reconcile how to fund ART in a responsible and equitable manner to increase access to care. Legislation is often unable to keep pace and address all of the ethical and legal issues that are constantly emerging in the field.  We have to ensure that ART technologies are offered and delivered in a manner that balances patient care with social and moral responsibility.

2. Surrogacy is an agreement in which a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a child for someone else. If the surrogate’s own eggs are used through alternative insemination or IVF, she is known as the “genetic surrogate.” IVF surrogacy is not allowed in the majority of countries. Where it is allowed, there are concerns about the commercialisation of surrogacy, exploitation of the hosts and an increase in inter-country “reproductive tourism”
