When choosing a career path, one must be "motivated" to succeed from beginning to end. And thus, motivation is and integral component in this journey.
Research suggests that extrinsic motivation (e.g. monetary value) has always been a motivating factor. However, through time, intrinsic values prevails. Motivational behavior is encompassed by the concept of extrinsic motivation, and intrinsic motivation was originally introduced by Harlow back then, as it gained empirical notoriety a couple of decades later. This concept has become fundamental in human life, and has provided understanding about people’s motivation for even their most perplexing actions. It has incited many scholars and organizations because of its impactful dynamics when provoked (Bandura, 1983; Damasio, 1994).
Why intrinsic motivation important to successful outcomes in organizations? Explain.

Intrinsic motivation helps in making the employees contribute to the work and this is more important than investments. When emploees come together, work will be done easily and perfectly. Employee satisfaction is the most important thing for success and this comes from intrinsic motivation. Hence it is important for successful outsomes of the organsiation.
