I am studying computer science as my major field. Even though the two separate fields, computer science and psychology, nowhere seem related, in some point they have a relationship, as I know using psychology I understand and predict the human behavior and understand the characteristics and behavior of individuals, and computer science is a study of computer and other processing.

Human computer interaction uses the psychology of the human users to improve the computer systems and the software. In Cognitive science, there is a contribution of computer science to psychology as they understand the working of the mind by computational tools. Of these, artificial intelligence is the most widely heard and widely used system. These systems mimic the human character, way of working, and behavior. Artificial intelligence learns by habit or task performance and then becomes predictive. In this computer field, if the machine performs a task and makes mistakes, then it learns from the mistakes and rectifies them. This completely pertains to the human mind and a normal human psychology which learns from its mistakes. One such example of artificial intelligence is Siri, which interacts with you in a predictive manner.

            Also, the human mind has a habit of finding the root cause of the problem when encountered by something that is against the normal. All the programs that are built are made such that when in the case of a crash or a big failure the mechanism identifies the root cause and the clears the problem.

Computer processing language like the human can only interact amongst themselves with a given set of languages. It so happens that when one would want to interact with an object oriented programs they would have to continue the programming in the given set of languages and any other random language cannot be used to interact. This against to the human psychology where humans can interact in only given set of languages within their own species.
