Explanation / Answer

1). Clara was gifted, clairvoyant. She could predict things as she predicted death in the family, and Rosa dies. At the same time she is innocent and unsure about her own power that when her prediction comes true she is so shocked that she stops speaking.

2). Rosa's death and watching her autopsy puts clara into shock, she is so shocked about her prediction coming true that she stops speaking.

3). Ester Trueba is a young man belonging to old upper class family who has lost all his fortune. He falls in love with Rosa and wants to get married to Rosa. He works hard and tirelessly to restore his fortune for getting married to Rosa.
