Technology has taken toll of almost all the fields and it’s got it’s own positives and negatives. In Criminal Justice System, technology has helped in identifying criminals, collecting evidences, storing the data, transferring data etc. thus, technology has sped up the delivery of justice on time. One of the most important challenges that the Criminal Justice system faces are the funding for implementing the technology and the training the staff in these new technologies. Government needs to allot more funding in order to implement technology across the country and spend even more to train the staff. There are also few disadvantages for people who use internet as the data is prone to hacking and this data leakage will collapse the entire criminal justice system as all the evidences and data could be targeted by criminals. Personally, criminals might know who is handling or holding the data thus can put their life in danger.
