PTA represents the physical therapist assistants needs, interest and issues in APTA governance. Two bodies were formed in june 2005 to represent the physical therapist assistant membership in APTA.
The main factors are;
* the purpose of task.
* PT/ PTA experience.
* complexity of the task.
* the stability of the patient.
Physical therapy assistants are the one who provides physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist. Physical therapy technicians works under the supervision of licensed physical therapist.
Clinical problem solving is nothing but the ability to adjust or modify or discontinuation of the intervention which is based on clinical indications. To determine the effectiveness of intervention or to determine and adjust intervention. This finally ensures safety and improves responses.
The 3 levels of supervision are;
* facilitate a common appreciation and understanding for diversity of profession, membership and communities.
* to enable PT and PTAs and to improve thier skills along with education.
* to enable PT practitioners and to improve the art and science programs including practice, education and research.
