Prednisone is also a glucocorticoid which she takes as pills icreases the levels of cortisol in body leading to cushing syndrome. Blood Pressure is also increased in cushing syndrome. so yes this finding was useful as she might having extra doses of prednisone.

FINAL DIAGNOSIS IS

CUSHING SYNDROME happens when a person is exposed to excess levels of cortisol hormone from a long time and prednisone with mrs. Blanc proves so. this diseases is also called Hypercortisolism mostly occurs due to oral corticosteroid medication.
