Explanation / Answer

In today's world we talk a lot about gender equality but somehow we fail to implement it because women don't actually get the chance because of their talent but out of sympathy or circumstances.Gender balance is something we actually should implement in our work culture because it is very much needed to achieve the growth. These videos are about gender balance in it's true sense.In both the videos the topic is discussed and conveyed effectively.

Major points and Perceptions :

1.In one of the video executive coach of GCG Mr Sean Casely Le claire says that if gender is an issue only related to women then slavery is related to black. This issue is actually about humanness not the gender.

Yes, I agree with this point. If a person is inhuman he or she will be so to all irrespective of it's gender.

2. In a discussion a woman says that there are many programs where people talk about gender equality but these are only helping, mentoring and training programs for women. actually there is need for both the genders and both need to develop equally.

My perceptions were different on it before as we think that women need help. But after realizing that both actually need to grow together, I agree on this point.

3. In the same video Sean also says that men are continuously being blamed for this bias but actually men also get confused.

Yes, this is also true that men are always blamed for the situation we are in.Sometimes it seems to be true but not all the time.

4. The last point of the same video which attracted me was that when you reach at the top you should know who you are ,as we give up some of us at each point to go ahead.

According to me gender does not seem to be very important here but what is important is what kind of person you are?

5. in the other video where ms Rohini Anand gives the statistics about the gender ratio in business field, she emphasises more on the mix of both the genders.

I completely agree on this point because no gender is better or worse but important thing is the colaboration between them. Both are complementary to each other.

Synthesis

Example : Gender balance in a workplace is when both the gender are given equal chance based on their talent. If there is a need for a new employee as a sales manager then he or she will be chosen on the basis of his or her sales skills but not gender.

Helpful in my career : As a psychiatrist this information will be of immense use for me. As it is a need of time, there will be more options available irrespective of gender. Most importantly mindset of people will change as this issue gets into the psyche of people.
