What is a noncompensatory selection system?Explanation / Answer
7)Norm-referenced test scores are scores which analyze the ability and intelligence based on the students performance in class tests. It tests the knowledge of students based on set parameters of subject analysis and numerical solving ability. Criterion referenced test scores--it compares the scores of students obtained in tests with the scores obtained by other students in the same test under identical test rules and regulation conditions.
8)Compensatory selection system--It is a model of testing which analyzes the potential of a child and provides opportunity to improve the scores if the score is less in the previous test. It is based on multiple linear regression method.
Noncompensatory selection test--It is a model which does not provide an opportunity to improve upon the previous low scores obtained in the previous test. It is a hurdle method which is used as a screening process if large number of applications are filled for a vacancy at a place which has limited job opportunities.
