Explanation / Answer

In this video Dr. McGonigal describing that how stress can be helpful for our health. The stress seems to be a hard condition not only mentally but also physically because we see the stress as a problem for our behavior and health. In this chapter, Dr. McGonigal defines that stress is directly associated with our health, if we believe that stress is helping us to come from the tough situation, it can be helpful for our health.

During the stress, Oxytocin hormone release in the body which fine-tune our brain to handle situations and also help our heart to be healthy so that stress can be helpful to control the cardiovascular disease.

Our health depends on our belief especially, how we feel the condition of health and how we manage it.

The social support increases the release of the neuro-hormone which help us to control cardiovascular diseases, so stress is helpful if we take it in the right way.

Dr. McGonigal examples and evidence of research for stress helped me to understand the symptoms of stress so that I would make it helpful for my health. If I care about someone, it would increase the level of oxytocin so that I could be healthier and my heart and brain will work more efficiently.
