a. VP, Finance
b. Director, HIM (under VP Finance)
c. Supervisor Coding, Supervisor Transcription, Supervisor Record Processing, Department Secretary, Tumor Registrar (all under Director HIM)
d. Birth Registrar, Medical records clerks and correpsondence secretaries(under Supervisor Record Processing)
e. Outpatient coders, Inpatient coders, Abstractor and Record analysts (under Supervisor, Coding)
f. Transcriptionists (under Supervisor, Transcription)
2. In my opinion, department is aligned appropriately or in a manner that would work the best for the staff because there are different functions in the department which are complimentary to each other and balance the whole department. All these functions have specific roles and responsibilities which they are capable of carrying out with the staff available.
