1. What must U.S. businesses do to improve the country’s manufacturing base?

Explanation / Answer

1. In order to improve the country's manufacturing base the business organizations need to play a role and that can be considered as social responsibilities of the organization. The aspects that will improve the country's manufacturing base are:

1. Manufacturing quality products because quality is the key and it is mandatory to be maintained by organizations in order to be successful.

2. Diversity in manufacturing products because that will actually help the nation establish itself as a provider of a range or genre of products.

3. Collaborations with organizations who are interested in the product of the organization will help the nation to be known as a producer of the good.

4. Use of latest technologies and strategies to develop, test and deploy will help the country in better quality assessment.
