Question
Conduct a Breadth First Search (BFS) on the graph assigned to you. Clearly indicate the Tree edges and Cross edges. Start your BFS from Vertex 1. Show the distance (levels) for the other vertices from the root. Also, Identify whether the given graph is 2-colorable or not. Show all the steps.

The reason for my answer is that it will travel each node from left hand side to right hand side at any node and at first it tries to traverse in breadth i.e. it traverses all its siblings.
So from 1 it goes to 2 - 5 - 7 - 4.
After that comes back to 2 and goes to 3 - 6 - 8.
This is how the BFS traversal occurs. Hope it will be clear to you with this explanation .
