For instance, Indian law has not always been favorable to foreign companies, and the average income of Indian consumers is less than American or French consumers. Develop a plan to describe what steps you will take to research potential barriers in India and recommendations for how to overcome them.

Developing a theme park in India will require details regarding the economy of India and also regarding the culture and attitude of citizens residing in the country because Disney needs to understand that the venture they are planning needs to be successful. Setting up a business in an emerging economy like India may have a lot of potential along with lot of barriers too because Indian law has not been favorable to foreign companies on a large basis and this mentality may affect the business of Disney. The per capita income of the country is on the lower side if we compare that with that of the US or France, It is clear that Disney needs to make a full proof plan ahead in order to be successful in India.
The Law has not been favorable for foreign companies but there are various instances where US organizations have been successful in India because of their performance, quality and brand value. There is no doubt that Disney possess a high brand value and in order to get established that will help them in the country because such a venture in the country may actually be exciting for a certain population and therefore the primary thing is to identify the target audience of the business.
The Per Capital income of the individuals are less but India also has a huge potential population where the income is high and Disney needs to aim at such opportunities. The pricing strategy needs to be effective and different from that in US and within the reach of the common man. Disney has to have an effective promotion strategy which will ensure that the organization attracts customers and use the strength of the organization in order to be successful in the country. The population of the country is huge and is the second most populated country in the world so potential is high but the strategies and approach should be clear.
