Conduct a survey about software tools/packages that might be used for data mining, and write a paper to compare and contrast THREE of them in the areas of data mining.

In this Ara of Information Technology.Data is very precious thing.And in day by day activity it is growing exponentialy.Most of the data data is not structured it is basically unstructured so we need to extract the valuable information from data then we can represent that data in very understandable form.So for extracting valuable information, data mining techniques comes into picture.So we have many data mining tools available.

here is the list of few powerful data mining tools:-

Weka

R

Oracle data mining

KNIME

RapidMiner

NLTK

Orange

Scrapy

So i am going to compare most popular data mining tools like:

RapidMiner, Orange, Weka

RapidMiner:- this tool is considered as top ranked this time, because of it is written in java programming language.

And this offer template based framwork for advanced analytics.Main plus point of this tool is user does not worry about any coding.Rapid miner provides statistical modeling,data visulization and many more functionality.And apart from this it provide learning schemes as well from other tool like weka , R.

Orange:-Orange is written in python while Rapidminer was written in Java.This tool is also considered as powerful open source tool. If you have less need of custom implementation in your software product it is best tool for this regard,It also supports machine learning, user add ons.if you have less need for custom implementation your choice should be Orange.

Weka:-There are two version available for weka first one is Non-java based second one is java based , java based version is used in many application like predictive modeling ,data visualization and many more.If your requirement is to customize tool weka is best choice among Rapidminer and other tool because it is free under General public licence apart from that it supports many tasks as well like regression ,classification, clustering and many more.
