Explanation / Answer

Danny is a Vietnamese American living in Houston who left Vietnam at an early age. Danny struggles with the American & the Vietnamese lifestyle where his preference is for the former but the parents assert their preference for the latter.

Now his family welcomes another cousin Sang Le who is presently coming from Hong Kong and was living as a refugee there. He also had served in a re-education camp in Vietnam.

Danny eventually is dating Tiffany who had a disabled brother as member of skinhead gang. When Danny takes her to the doors he was beaten up by her brother. Also this relationship will become crucial once the story takes a different turn. Here Danny would be faced with an ethical question. To choose between maintaining his relationship with Tiffany or honoring his cousin’s death.

Meanwhile Sang Le becomes part of the Cobra gang and is receiving huge money on account of various tasks undertaken. When the grandmother forbids him for taking up such tasks. Sang Le was found badly wounded and the skinhead gang was responsible for the same.

Now the above situation also puts Danny at crossroad when he has to decide between the above mentioned options.
