Before carrying out a SWOT analysis, consider the following guidelines:

· Distinguish between where the organization is today and where it could be in the future.
· Note that the SWOT is subjective. No two persons will come up with the same SWOT.

ABC Corporation a Multinational Technology giant is the largest of its kind in the United States and is also one of the popular in the industry and is considered as a brand among the people and also sets an example in the industry.
The primary product of the organization is smart electronic devices like Computer, Laptops, Smart Phones, Mp3 players, etc. ABC Corporation started its operation through Next Generation Computers and from then it has come a long way to produce the most glamorous and popular smart phone and laptops at present. The mission of the organization is not to produce products which have a demand in the market instead manufacturing a product which will create demand in the market and ABC has been successful in doing so in the last decade and a half. Like each and every other business organization, the basic objective of ABC is to generate the maximum possible revenue but ABC does it with a unique approach never compromising on quality and the brand value. The product that it manufactures target a particular section of the society and target group population is less in number.

The analysis is possible after a through study of the strategies adopted by the organization and the functions carried out
Strength
ABC Corporation is a brand and the most important strength of the organization is its brand value, there are other potential competitors in the market and they also provides a range of products which pose competition but when the name is ABC, users have a different attitude towards the product because it is believed that ABC can never do wrong. The type of customer service it provides is also something that the other players should look upon, there has been a lot of complains and grudge againsts the quality of the service others provide bt with ABC, never this is why ABC is unique among its player and can be considered as elite.
Weakness - As mentioned that the target population of the organization is different and hence the basic weakness is less number of customers. Again, the price of the products are quite high compared to other players in the market which again limits or restricts the group of people able avail the product. Technically there are some limitations, the products does not support accessories of any other brand, the product cannot be customised. For example if you are planning to buy a head phone for your laptop, you will have to buy a ABC headphone or else it will not be compatible with your device again if you want to increase th storage capacity of your smart phone it is not possible because it does not support that.
Opportunities - ABC has a world full of opportunities if they are a bit sincere and dynamic about their products. They use their own operating system and the products will not work without their operating system and other system softwares. They can target a larger section of the society if the price is bit decreased and flexibility is given to the products. Opportunities will increase the popularity of the products among its users.
Threats - ABC is facing threats from quite a long time but its brand value has always helped the organization overcome the situation but with the advancement of technology customers are expecting a smart phone which will be able to do almost everything but ABC is lacking in flexibility. Initially the industry had very few players but now there are almost 100 companies producing the same products that too on a lower rate and with huge flexibility which is making the customers think and compare the products. As ABC is a global organization and also has presence in the third world countries, price turns out to be a matter of concern depending on the economic situation of the nations and the ither players penetrate the market.
It can be concluded that the present looks very much impressive but the future is a bit concerning and the organization should think about it creatively in order to be in the industry. It has been heard from various customers that ABC would have been an ovious choice if the price was a bit less or if theere was more flexibility but again it should be realised that the brand is popular because of its unique approach and this can secure the future if applied with creativity.
