It is now the companies who need to align themselves for the changes that technology revolution has brought about. This will be inevitable for any size of the company and thus needs to be addressed at earliest.
It is not that internet is bringing this change but the change has been bought the companies to workout their new ways to reach this digital citizens of the time and interact with them directly.Thus it is the need of the companies to changes their strategies to stay competitive. If you do not stay with the current technology wave, you will loose the touch with the customer base and ultimately you will loose out to the competition who is using the technology.
Internet has changed the way we look at things right now. Earlier the data & information was not so accessible, but the through internet the world has changed the way it has access to data, managing employees in large amount easily and effectively with real time and accurate data. After Internet, we can see and track the records of every employee in real time and view reports of them anywhere in the world. This has made all the routine activities of managing employees technology driven.
Social media as a part of this innovation has came up with opening large doors of doing business for individuals over the internet. It is connecting people very easily and getting attention of them every now and then. People are spending more than 2-3 hours on their social media platforms and thus it has huge potential of information passing. Now as companies feel to pass on the real positive information, there are some negative marketing campaigns that will in turn reach to your consumers and customers to lay down negative thinking about your products. Thus active participation and interaction with consumers / customers is essential.
On social media, Facebook has taken over all other media platforms which is growing at a very high pace and now contributing to brand growth, individual pages, personal profile and making it available to all the people acrosss the globe. Companies are now promoting their products online, throught Facebook specifically. It has been a growth driver for business these days. Also this platform provides low cost marketing with huge level of reach to consumers being more effective than traditional marketing resulting into profitability for the companies. In such scenario, it is also very critical to protect the privacy of users and should be up to date with all the upgradation to protect data from any threats or attempts from hackers making it a reliable tool.
