A-6 -- In general terms Precedent means previous. Whenever a new law is enacted or a new case is decided the cort refers to the previous cases/ laws to decide the case. It helps to decide the matter its implications and other scenarios. Judges/ legislatures take guidance from previous decisions and rely on past interpretations of questions of law. Such cases are taken as an example of rule for subsequent cases are known as precedents. The importance of precedents is recognized in almost all legal systems across the world, since the ancient eras. Many countries and courts take the prcedents case to decide the matter and enact the law. A dep analysis and reasearch is done to jot down the points and decide the matter. For eg Company Law, Constitution etc are taken by many countries from United States and United Kingdom.
A-7 --- Product Liability consists a number of laws made by the government and court rullings to any business that makes or sells products. It is the business who is responsible for ensuring the products are safe for the Public. As per Uniform Product Liability Act, product liability includes "all claims or action brought for personal injury, death, or property damage caused by the manufacture, design, formula, preparation, assembly, installation, testing, warnings, instructions, marketing, packaging, or labeling of any product." It is very important for the manufacturers because it can create and unwanted liability and suits which may have a very bad adverse effect on the business. It results in monetary as as reputational loss as well. It is one of the main concerns why a lot of attention is paid on quality, testing, manufacturing, Packaging of the products. It has been seen in many case which has result in huge damage suits by customers on the companies such as MacDonald, etc. There is no federal product liability law. Typically, product liability claims are based on state laws, and brought under the theories of negligence, strict liability, or breach of warranty. In addition, a set of commercial statutes in each state, modeled on the Uniform Commercial Code, will contain warranty rules affecting product liability.
C 1--- Data means facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.In computing, data is information that has been translated into a form that is efficient for movement or processing. It is an input part which is processd by computer and the result is obtained as output which is known as information.When information is entered into and stored in a computer, it is generally referred to as data. After processing (such as formatting and printing), output data can again be perceived as information. In simple anaysis one is input and the other is output.
Both can be stored. Data can be text, number, videos etc but inforamtion is what we get and understand. Computers typically read data, but it is not necessarily something that a computer actually understands.
C--10 It basically depend on the technology which the company is offering to its employees for example holiday software, payroll and other stuff which are employee centric are allowed to employees for their use. But Business development technology customer centric technology should not be allowed to the employees for their personal use because of the following concerns-
It involves a huge cost on development and ther are high chances of missuse.
It leads to data infringment and security threats.
There is high risk of copyrights leak as well as loss of businees ideas.
