c) Data Mart: Identify the benefits and limitations of a data mart that is sourced from the warehouse to support customer analytics for a typical online retailer.
d) External Data: Identify a source of external data a typical online retailer might wish to include in a customer analytics data mart. What benefit is gained by the addition of this external data? What challenges are presented by the integration of this external data source?

a) Source Data Systems: The data can be obtained from any data sources. One of the major data sources for the retail informatin is a) Point of sale Systems, b) Mobility sensors, c) Mobile apps.
b) Data Warehouse: The dataware house contains information related to data sources. Data warehousealso supports various business decisions by analysing the data at different levels. The methodology which is used to process information is extraction of the data, transformation using various techinques, Load the data for further operations. It ensures the data transaction where the transaction is proper and safe. If any failure in the transaction it may results in rollback to the previous step to ensure the data availability. It also stores the information which is generated from the data sources regarding to online retailers.
c) Data Mart: Data Mart with respect to retail systems contains the critical information related to data warehouse. In most of the cases it contains information whcih is related to
Fraud detection - ensures that the data is secure.
Development of strategic solutions - It involves in the development of strategic solutions.
Market analysis - It also contain information related to retail market.

some times the data can be ruined if the transactions are not safe.
d) External Data: External data such as incorporating browsing data, data streams, social media analysis to understand the customers in detail. One of the important source can be optimizing e-commerce.
