Explanation / Answer

I am choosing quote no-1, as i beleive that yes a new device opens a door but does not compel anyone to enter. The acceptance or rejection of an invention totally depends upon the condition of the current society in which the invention took place as if invention is being made upon seeing the requirement of the society then it will gladly be accepted by society otherwise may not be accepted. Acceptance and rejection also depends upon the imagination of leaders as sometimes two similar objects can be invented out of which one has to be rejected or sometimes quite future technology is invented, which is yet to be accepted by the society. The last point being it also depends upon the nature of technological item itself as if it is a advanced technology and come as needy to the society with worth of price then technology is widely accepted and appreciated as well. Further developments in that technology for years can be fuelled afterwards.
