Employees go on strike, and the company could be without critical workers for weeks. e. A disgruntled employee takes a critical server home, sneaking it out after hours. A disaster is basically like a show stopper. After a disaster the company can't function at all and might be assosciated with consequences like building evacuation, stopping of business etc.
a) Incident. First identify which files were deleted and how much critical they were. Check out for their backup and try to restore the needed files(order the restoration of files based on their priority). Report the case to law enforcement. Identify the vunerabilitlies which lead the hackers in and try to remove those vunerabilities.
b)Incident: Try to recover the files from the affected computers. Place order of new computers. Find out the source of fire and take measures to prevent any incident like that in future.
c)Disaster: Try to find out the critical activities which need to run in the next 3-5 days. Try to get power backups to run those activities. These power backups could be generators etc.
d)Incident: Find out what are the demands of workers and the past communication with the employees on this issue. Try to quantify the loss of work due to loss of employees in the next few days. Try to find out ways to fulfil employees demand if possible ir else look at alternatives like hiring new employees.
e)Disaster: Estimate the functions which are affected due to critical server. Try to balance the functionalities of critical server from other servers and contact law enforcement to recover the server from employee.
