Discuss these specific questions: (MBA degree)

Why did you choose to pursue an MBA?

What expectations did you have about the program and how have they been met (or not), and why?

What did you learn/experience that you had not considered?

What academic content has made the greatest impact on you and why?

What personal interactions and team dynamics have made an impression on you and why?

How do you believe your leadership and decision-making have been impacted because of your educational experience?

In what ways do you anticipate contributing/staying connected to the students, faculty, in the future and is there a role you think you could play?

Define what your professional aspirations are now and how you anticipate putting your education and experience into practice

Explanation / Answer

1. I chose to pursue an MBA degree for a simple fact, that I wanted to get into the management part of any business organization. Moreover I had experience prior to pursuing an MBA degree from working from the lower levels. This experience coupled with an MBA degree would put me in good stead. Hence I decided to pursue an MBA degree.

2. I had certain expectation about the program, to learn certain principles that could be put to use in the normal working of any organization. But upon my research, prior to joining the MBA degree, I had a perception that the industrial requirements would not be fully taught in an MBA degree. But to my surprise, the MBA degree, fully touched upon all the the principles that are the basic requirements for any organization. It also had a practical workshop as to how to put to use the principles in the daily functioning of any organization. So I got what I required from an MBA degree.

3. As elaborated in the previous point, I was under the misconception that, I would not get what is required for an industry in an academic MBA degree. I got which I had not considered that I would get. They are the basic principles of management, and how to put to use the principles in the daily functioning of an organization. Also did not dream of having a practical workshop.

4. The academic content of having a practical workshop has made the greatest impact on me. This practical workshop, gives the experience of how to put to use in a factory, what we have learnt in the academics.
