Ans:- Any affected employee can take 12 weeks of unpaid leave in a period of one year due to health problem of self, spouse, child or parents from this act. The consequences of The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 can be given as below:-
a). It can act as a safeguard for employees who are having genuine problem and need leave to be with the family.
b). Any company should have humanitarian approcah towards employees. An employee who is suffering from illness or having family members in adverse situation should be given time to be with the family.
c). It doesn't hurt women as it gives opportunity to take leave in any adverse situation. It is equally helpful to both men and women employees.
d). The business can only be grown by having good word of mouth in the industry. Employees are main source which can spread positive word of mouth about company.
