Ribbon increases the efficiency for Microsoft Office users.The Ribbon allows for all the tools and taskbars to be grouped into one location above theheader of your Word document.This helpful feature is also available for use in otherMicrosoft Office system programs, such as; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access.
Other applications should include a Ribbon feature by considering its various advantages. I think that many other applications could benefit from using a Ribbon because of the convenience it provides to its users.Also, to not search for the location of a feature when creating a document is extremely convenient.Therefore, the ability to have all the features easily accessible at the top of your document would be very helpful in otherprograms, the way it is with Microsoft Office 2007-2013.
