Amazon is one of the big gaints in the ecommerce company so they have huge amount of server that have huge credentials information of data of the customer where they will have their credit card information and the addressesof the customer who shop at amazon website.if the customer data leaks it would be huge loss for the company and to thier investment they have invested on the infrastructure.
in Amazon privacy they are giving gobal privacy to the customer where a person in USA can access information from UK with out any breach of data.
if any disaster comes the customer is one who will face negative outcomes the company will lose thier value amazon is given the service from 2004 without data breach.
amazon data are secured and stored on their private server and they are well secured both physically and cyber security has be done will millions of Dollars to make sure the data has not be leaked.only those who have the roles and permissions can access the information
yes the company is monitored 24x7 around the globe at any time and disaster management and risk assessment system have been deployed on the system and the company has taken efforts not to mix the geo location data because of access of data in anyparts of the world.
