The Meaning of Relativity by Albert Einstein: The general theory of relativity, space and time in pre-relative physics and theory of special relativity which predicted the space-time around Earth would be not only warped but also twisted by the planet's rotation. Importance in History: Like Newton and Galileo, the world did not recognize Einstein’s work of theory of relativity. But later it changed the viewpoint of everyone regarding space-time and gravity.
On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin: The book highlighted on Darwin's theory which consisted of two main points i.e the diverse groups of animals evolve from one or a few common ancestors and the mechanism by which this evolution takes place is natural selection.

The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer: It is a collection of stories in a frame story, between 1387 and 1400 of a group of thirty people who travel as pilgrims from London to Canterbury to visit the shrine of Saint Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral.
Importance in History: Chaucer took the decision to write in French, not in English and it was written in poetry-rhyming couplets. The pilgrims decided to tell the stories to pass their time on the way to Canterbury and Chaucer encounters them and became the narrator of the story. So, the narrator tries to follow many literary styles and genres like courtly romance, moral allegories, erotic farces, and comic animal fables.
Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriett Beecher Stowe: The book is written in slavery about the Life Among the Lowly, which is an anti-slavery novel by American author Harriet Beecher Stowe. It was published in 1852 which had a reflective effect on attitudes toward African Americans and slavery in the U.S. and it laid the stepping stone and helped lay the groundwork for the Civil War.
