Explanation / Answer

If I talk about personal level of communication then I strive to clearly convey my feelings, emotions, messages, advices, recommendations etc. The term ‘clearly’ means those elements are very clear to make the receiver understand. I also believe to have the relevant media of communication which supports my competency for offering constructive feedback. There is proper use of verbal as well as non verbal Communications supported with active listening skills.

Inter- cultural communication means when we communicate with those cultures which are different than ours is called inter cultural communication. In case of inter cultural communication I form various team on various factors and maintain it. And help those things to perform better toward organizational goal achievements with the use of help of effective communication tool. The competency which I have poses felicitate me to respect the cultural difference and be open minded to respected it. Hence motivating the people from various backgrounds to work collectively in pleasant and peaceful manner

In my communication method I support and show Global mindset to be open and accept the issues and challenges which comes due to various cultural backgrounds.

It is very important for me to achieve a certain level of inter-cultural communication competence because of above reasons.

It always helps me personally, professionally. Because I know how to handle various cultural communication barriers, understand non verbal communication the differences in tone the various perceptions

Let us have an example- the different perception of the individuals belonging to different culture is a in cross cultural communication. In US Thumbs Up sign is a gesture of showing good work etc but in the country like India and Middle East countries showing thumbs up means showing illiteracy, when a person is not educated then he is shown by the thumbs up so because of this sign various perceptions can be made and this is a issue in cross cultural communication. It has to be understood to help the people perform better coming from various different cultural backgrounds
