principle of SCM helps the business in targeting the market into segements. segements can be based on geographical region, demographical region like age , income, occupation etc.

principle of SCM helps the business to serve the customers in any area of the world like amazon or ebay etc anyone can order & SCM helps these company to transport theri product to the end customer.

principle of SCM also helps the business itself by providing its services in the close proximity to the company & cut down the cost of transport. like manufacturing company wants to transport its product in the area range of 5-10 km then these SCM are arranged in such a way that cost of transpotation is always minimum as compared to other mediums.

a- supply chain strategy- This is the first step in making decision regarding the supply chain management. under this the top executives make the strategies by keeping the factors like objective, price of the goods, market conditions, location, storages etc. after analyzing all factors they set their strategies to make decisions.

b- planning of logistics- this is the important step in SCM decision process executives considers the demand & supply factor. they also keep a view on competitors plan & strategy to satify their customers.the plan includes all the support from the employees to make it successful. it can be for short term period.

c-Supply chain operations- this is the last stage where decisions are made regarding the function of supply chain at instant to remove the uncertainity. this phase includes all the decisions like customer ordering the product till its deliver to the customer.

3- appropriate management frameworks for planning & control of material & services-

the quality, qunatity & cost can be manintaind by following management frameworks-

TQM(total quality management) in which quality of the product is compared with the standard set quality.
