Determine for yourself how the book Level Three Leadership by James Clawson has helped you understand your personal leadership strength and weaknesses and how those are helping you (or not!) be successful in the organization. Of particular use will be the questionnaire on p. 344-345 in the text which helps determine at what level you tend to lead today. And the Survey of Managerial Style (p. 352-359) brings a managerial v. leadership assessment of tactics that may be insightful and helpful as you write. Your paper must demonstrate proper elements of becoming a “reflective practitioner” by being honest in this self-assessment stage.

ANSWER-
LEVEL THREE LEADERSHIP-
According to this book by james clawson, it summarises that how the managers uses diffrerent different king of methods,models & approached to lead employees or staff in an organization.managers in the past always influeneces the behavior of employees which is a level one kind of leadership & contributed with the team to achieve group objective which is relate to second level of leadership but james clawson introduces a totally new level of leadership in which he describes the methods to get deeper in the situation & work with the people at all level to understand thier beliefs, values, assumptions etc.
this book helped in following ways-
the three level of leadership helped me to know about my approach in leadership & improve my weakness into strenghts.
my strengths are-
but after study the book i have found that i have some weaknesses too which was affecting my leadership in the organization-
weaknesses-
but from this , i have overcome my weakness & turned them into my strengths & now my leadership is successful in my organization.
for example- in the past i never adapt with the dynamic situations but now i make my decisions according to the situation & i also consult my others in the organization about this decision that if anyone's value or belief or goals are not affecting by this.
*effective use of questionnaire-
from this study i have generated some skills & levels of my leadership style which makes me to lead people at any level of the organization. the questionnaire helped me to know the thinking, needs, changes of other people in the organization which makes me to improve myself according to that. for example i have following skills-
become visionary- now i can move people to the direction of a vision
demoractic- i support participation of people at all level
a coach- now i coach people to be a leader in future
so yeah it helped me a lot to lead anyone at any level in my organization.
*by the help of managerial v. leadership assessment of tactics, i would be able to make my self from a manager to a successful leader with managerial knowledge.in past i only think about the goals,objectives but now my area has expanded i am able to see the big picture & make vision,strategies & execution etc.
* ELEMENTS OF REFLECTIVE PRACTITIONER-
A reflective practitioner is one who looks back & think about what he can improve more. so, by journey from manager to a leader i have improved myself in many areas in terms of knowledge, skills, experinece. & still i am learning more & more.
