2.1 SIX systems analysis activities:
Gather detailed information – Gathering the required detailed information is necessary from the customers and the clients in order to analyze and begin to analyze what are the requirement for the system.
Define requirements – We have to define the requirements in the system and give a detailed version of the requirements.
Prioritize requirements – Prioritization of the requirements have to be done according to the requirements priority such as which requirement should be handled first and which is for higher priority than the others.
Develop user-interface dialogs – We have to develop and design the user interface dialogs in the UI and the systems.
Evaluation requirements with users – We have to evaluate the requirements with the users of the system and see if the requirements matched those of the requirements of the user and if that’s what the users need.

The purpose of system analysis is the act of studying a process or an activity such as a process or a business and define the goals and the purpose of it and the outcome of the activity. Thus system analysis determines the functionality of the activity or the process. The benefits of doing systems analysis are:

The actor or the user can be human or other systems. Use cases consider the actor and the system and the interactions between them. One approach to identify the use cases is the user goal technique where the users describe their goals on how to use the new system. The analysis occurs with the users and the actors and then perceives the actor tends to perform an action or goal. Then these goals are constructed to form a use case.
