Ans=> I chose to be Deivery Manager for medicine delivery in Retail Sector. Following are the reasons for the same.
Ans=> I used excel, an app to place an order, polygon technique.
Ans=> 1. Poeple who are already working as delivery managers in other areas like food industry. We can always interact with them and undertand the process flow and the entire job. 2. Internet is a huge source of information to understand what needs to be expected from this type of job like for e.g. Person should be available 24*7 as there can always be an emergency order in this field etc.

All the above 5 points need to be monitored regularly. There has to be a database for these descriptions and it needs to get updated as the firm or the employee grows depending on the policies that are set by the firm.

For example: For the job of delivery manager following purpoese statement can be used. “Highly skilled in team management and coordination. Is available 24*7 and is highly motivated individual. He/she should be comfortable with higher management and should be objective driven.This would help the firm in achieving its mission of service excellence”.
5. Data gathering, analyzing, and reporting techniques. (How did you go about gathering, analyzing and reporting the information?)
Ans=> This has to be done frequently and that too at regular intervals and this is highly intensive job which requires lot of follow ups. Reports should always be simple to understand. Higher management should be able to interpret them easily. It should focus more on insight generation so that we can improve as a business and firm.
This can be done using any simple tool like excel. Data gathering can be smooth if the IT support can be gained.
