Q.1 . Characterize telemedicine

Ans . - Telemedicine is type of treatment or diagnosis with the help of technology mainly IT. It is used to provide the treatment from distance. It has several benefits like

1.) It helps doctors to treat the patient who is at far distance

2.) Medical assitance can reach at remote areas

3.) Medical staff remains safe from contamination of disease from patient

4.) Patients are also remains safe from other patients.

5.) It saves time, cost and energy of both doctors and patient

6.) Patient can take treatment from those doctors which are present in other parts of the world, they don't have to visit particularly for that purpose.

Q.2 Explain store-and-forward technology ?

Ans- Store and Forward technology allows the sender to send the medical record eletronoicaly like Prescription, X-Rays, Reports. Its is beneficial in many treatments like radiology, dermatology, ophthalmology etc.

It has various benefits like

1.) It helps in transmission of medical record to urban and developed medical centers for advanced treatment

2.) In case of unavaibility of all patient or primary medical facilator or advanced medical staff will not bother very much

3.) Helps in connection of Superior medical facility to primary medical facility

4.) No need to visit advance or developed medical facility specially for this purpose.

Q.3.  Explain interactive videoconferencing ?

Ans - Interactive Video Confrencing is a method which helps in connecting two or more locations with video and audio facility to transmit or communicate from each other. it is used for transmission, discussion, observation, education purpose. widely used in medical institute and medical treatments.

Ans . - 1. Teleradiology

It is a method in which patient transmit their medical records like X-ray, Ct Scan and MRI's to many Sub specialist like radiologist, neuroradiologist, pediatric radiologist etc. for better treatment. It helps the avaibility of medical record to the superior therapist which are generaly present in Urban areas.

2. Telepathology

It helps in transmission of patients data to transmit to other location where other therapist is present with the purpose of observation, research and treatment. It allows therapist to examine the patient records without practicaly meeting him.

3. Teledermatology

Dermatology is one of the field which is taking very much benefit from this technology. In this method patient shares its records via audio, visuals etc. Patient can directly be treated from this technique. Patients can enjoy the treatment from the doctors from far distance. They don't have to visit specificaly for this purpose.
