I am providing the following format for your research papers:

I. Cover Page

Please refer to the APA Manual and/or the Purdue Owl website for an example of what the cover page should look like. The cover page should be centered both horizontally and vertically.

II. Introduction

This is the only section where you do not use the heading. Please discuss your the theory from which you derived your topic. Compare and contrast that theory with other organizational change theories. The introduction should also contain your hypothesis statement, and that is exactly what I expect a statement, one sentence, not an extended description of what you deem to be the hypothesis. Use the following format, "There is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable." I have had students actually use the example verbatim so please use your own variables in the underlined portions of the example I provided.

III. Literature Review

The literature review contains a discussion of each of the articles you are using. Whether it is a study or an experiment you will discuss it in detail. Who are the participants? The breakdown by age, gender, ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, etc. You will discuss the findings of each article and whether those findings support or reject your hypothesis. Please make sure you use articles that explore the relationship between the two variables in your hypothesis.

IV. Conclusion

Please summarize your findings in this section. This is where you summarize you whole paper telling me what you told me in summary form. Please mention whether overall your hypothesis was supported or rejected by the literature review. Please also discuss the need for future research and why that need exists.

V. References

Please include the reference list that alludes to the in-text citations in your paper. Please do not forget to cite giving credit to your sources!

Use the above for also completing your outline. Your outline should include each of the sections above with an explanation of what you plan to include in each section. Be sure to include the topic and hypothesis in the "Introduction" section.

I am including a sample paper. The paper uses separate Findings and Conclusion headings. I am asking you to combine the two in one section, Conclusion. Also the paper is not perfect, it does have some formatting and grammatical errors but it was the best paper that I could find as an example for good research paper structure and content. As always if you have APA formatting and style questions refer to the APA Manual and/or the Purdue Owl website.

The Assignment deals with writing a Research Paper. It should comprise of :

Cover Page : Covering the details of the Report ,its topic, organization name and the details of the guide and the institute.

Introduction : Brief outline of the research covering the hypothesis to be set.

Literature Review : Books and papers published in the similar topic need to be revied and then summarised in your own words.

Conclusion : Findings and suggestions to be given to the organization based on the study conducted .

References : Citations , books and papers referred for the research purpose need to be mentioned.

Example : Research Paper on "Outsourcing Vs. Carrying In house of Biomedical Waste Management".

Cover Page : Contains the details of the Topic, author, guide, organization and other relevant details

Introduction : Outsourcing is giving away an activity or a series of activities to the third party and not carrying it out in-house. It has got certain benefits as the company can reduce the cost and focus on the core activities by giving away the non-core activities to the third party. Certain disadvantages are also there in terms of risk and sharing the major business details of the company.

Hypothesis : Null Hypothesis : There is no cost saving by outsourcing the activity of biomedical waste.

Alternate Hypothesis : There is a significant cost saving by outsourcing the activity of biomedical waste

Literature Review : Title : Cost Benefit Analysis /Containment in Biomedical Waste Management Model for implementation , Authors : Dr Hemachandra, K Jamaluddin

This paper has thrown details on the cost incurred by the organization in searching the third party vendor and the transaction cost and the benefits associated with the same in terms of cost reduction.

Conclusion : It has been found out although the risk is involved and there is search cost and transaction cost involved in outsourcing but the benefits outweigh the risks attached to it. This being carried out by comparing the cases of two hospitals, Columbia Asia which outsources the activity and NRR Hospitals which carries it out in-house. Thus it can be concluded that Columbia Asia Hospitals is incurring less cost and thus able to reduce the overall costs. Thus it can be concluded that Outsourcing is better than carrying the Biomedical Waste Management in-house.
