MEANING OF MARKETING ACTIVITY-
according to me, marketing activity is the process where a company uses the techniques to aware the public about its product & sevices in the market. this could be for newly developed product launch in the market or existing product & services. marketing is very vast area which encompasses the sections like advertising, publicity, personal selling etc.
* How is an activity different than a “product”-
ACTIVITY- activity is a process which a person does in life. for example- running, walking, reading, writing, etc.
PRODUCT- PRODUCT is something which is manufactured for sale or bundle of utilities which satisfy the needs of customers. product is result of various activities.
FIRST ANSWER- LET suppose the organization (amazon inc.)-
*marketing activites adopted by the amazon are -
digital marketing( email marketing, online marketing, seo marketing).
target marketing
brand marketing
social marketing
all above marketing activies are adopted by the amazon to improve customer interface at every level. these activites are very supportive to target, segment, postion the market.
SECOND ANSWER- customers are experiencing following points due to these marketing activities-
*CUSTOMERS can know about the products of different brands at one place. *CUSTOMERS can purchase different array of products at one maeket place. *CUSTOMERS can compare prices of same type of products at cheaper prices. * it also provides marketing supports to diffrent different companies at any category like cosmetics, electronics,FMCG products etc.

these marketing activites adopted by the company(AMAZON INC.) are not stiff or rigid but they can be changed according to the marketing situation demands etc.
let suppose AMAZON INC or any other organisation. wants to takeover the niche market for middle or cheap price products for different class of customers then it can adopt STP marketing startegy(SEGMENTATING, TARGETING, POSTIONING).
amazon also adopts the strategy to held SALE online which provides discounts on products, free gifts, vouchers etc to its customers.
*customer experience after marketing activities changes-
the main focus of changing the marketing activities is provide best solutions to customer needs.but sometimes it could be bset for some but bad for others.
let us take the example of amazon prime members, amazon provide several benefits to its prime members like free delivery of product, access to amazon prime video, priority given to prime members on the day of SALE etc.
yes, these changes make difference in the marketplace, the big example of this can be known by the study of JIO TELECOM COMPANY which changed the whole scenario of internet in india & make its competitors to reduce the prices of its calling-internet packs.this change became a great experience for indian customers & india became in top list of data consumption.
