Company vice-president, acting with what he thought to be company policy, fired a manager (Dean) that had filed for divorce and moved in with a famale co-worker. He was fired on grounds of adultry. Dean filed abusive discharge against the company contwnding that he was be fired unfairly just because he moved in with a female while seperated from his wife. He also says the company has no right to impose its morals on an employee's private life. Vice-presedent contends that a non-union member can be dischargedfor any reason.
What are the issues, the problems, the perferred outcome, to each problem, the alternatives, and the contrants on the dicisions?

Without a union to protect you or without an employment contract you have no recourse as an employee at will. You can be fired for no cause at all.
Discrimination based on gender, age, race, religious beliefs etc.. may give rise to a different answer.
