Dear Mr. Janine Carter,
I am Stephen Johnson, Project Manager of XYZ Project and I am writing this letter to seek help from you to deal with one of my team member who creates lot of issues in the workplace.
The employee name is James Wilson who is a member of XYZ Project and is working in the service department. James is trying to make lot of issues in the workplace by spreading rumors and trying to mislead other employees. Last week he tried to spread gossip regarding another team member’s personal relationship and later it resulted into conflict. Such incidents are affecting our productivity very badly and needs to be corrected.
I have warned him many times before not to repeat such disruptive behavior in workplace, but still it continues. I need your suggestions on how to deal with this employee with the anticipated actions. Please look into this issue and provide your insights.
Please contact me if any other details required. Thank you for your valuable time and patience.
Sincerely,
Stephen Johnson
