Therefore, most companies preferred to pay the penalties which are considerably low considering the size of the organisation which are mostly refusing to implement the required safety regulations. If the laws were more stringent and closure of Companies mandatory in case of non implementation within a given notice period, the companies would be more liable to take strict action and consider welfare and safety of workers above profitability.

That too many regulations exist impeding businesses and business growth is not a valid argument given the aims of occupational safety and health administration laws as the major aim of this law is to facilitate business through enhanced productivity by ensuring that minimal work days are lost due to personal injuries and in ministers resulting from situations within the work environment which impose a burden upon the employer as well as prove to be a hindrance to optimal productivity. Every business as to endure losses in the form of production in productivity, loss of wages, medical expenses as well as disability compensation payments due to non implementation of the required safety measures resulting in injuries to workers.
