Question
One team member (Jack) is supposed to report on the financial costs of operating the equipment, but he is complaining that a teammate (Jill) has not given him the information he needs regarding how long it takes to treat each patient, and thus he can't figure out the operations costs. You know that Jill is normally an excellent worker, but she has been off sick a lot the last month and it has been impacting her work.
How do you respond to Jack's concerns?

Explanation / Answer
My response to Jack’s concerns would be that though his concerns are genuine, but as a teammate he should understand his teammate’s situation is that Jill has been sick these days, so Jack should have tried more ways to find that information, maybe some alternative ways or tries to collaborate with Jill in better ways to get that information whenever she is at work.
