Question
Conduct a taste test involving some soft drinks with a group of friends. Pour them several ounces of three popular soft drinks and simply label the cups A, B, and C. Make sure they are blind to the actual brands. Then, let them drink as much as they want and record how much they actually drink. You may also ask them some questions about the drinks. Then, allow other subjects to participate in the same test, but this time, let them know what the three brands are. Record the same data and draw conclussions. Does brand knowledge affect behavior and attitudes about soft drinks?
Explanation / Answer
well taste test in between friends is very intresting
I gave soft drinks to my friend A B C
actually A taste the drinks he doesn't react
B given the taste feels because he is brand consious
C is comfortable with taste.
So three of them drink according to thier capabilities like A drinks without hesitation, B drinks accordingly taste, c had different
and there are different results when i have told the brand.
Actually brand knowledge affects the behaviour and attitudes:
Because branded drink or any product people can easily trust on them as they are familiar
Brands give them the assurance of healthiness
Brands give quality asurance
Brands give the feeling og godness
Non Brands giving a shit like feel
Non brands they are taking by chance
Non brands give a inferior type feels.
So brand always gives a different types of experience to the users, people are brand consious they can spend many bugs on buying them, but in this situation to erase a brand product from their mind and give a place to new product is very difficult they are easily trying new product specially a higher class customers, Medium clas is also looking brands but due to thier financial condition they somewhere justify with brand and poor class is not so brand specific because doesn't have any knowldege about the product.
