You have seen the many statistics indicating that healthcare costs are rising and continue to rise. Many of you have probably felt this first hand, by way of increases in premiums for your health insurance and/or the increase in patient responsibility for medications.

1) With that being said, what do your foresee the healthcare industry will do to control costs?

2) If Medicare and Medicaid were to cut reimbursement dramatically, how do you think the healthcare industry will react?

There are several factors the healthcare factor can do to control cost such as manufacturing drug within itself, stop importing from drug other countries, using a good healthcare technology whose maintainence cost are low. etc. But the greatest achievement for the health care industry is the Affordable Care Act.

The Affordable Health Care Act is the one of the most noteworthy renovations in the healthcare system. The objective of this Act is to care for people who do not have money to insured their health and to lower the cost of healthcare as a whole. The Affordable Health Care Act compels insurers to present similar premiums to people within the same region and age group inspite their medical condition is pre-existing or not. The people who have been rejected due to disability or pre-existing medical illness can now take asylum under insurance.

Senior citizens also benefit from the Affordable Health Care Act as they help to fortify Medicare and grant them admission to preventative assistance and reductions in drug prescriptions. The Act increases eligibility for Medicaid and also allows low income families to receive federal aid in order to obtain health insurance.
